THE LONDON BIKE SHOW 2012
We visited the London Bike Show last week, giving visitors the chance to enter a competition to win a Saracen Ariel 2012 bike worth a staggering £3,000. Not only that, the bike was signed by World Champion pro bike rider Martyn Ashton, together with a one-on-one training day with the man himself.
The London Bike Show took place at Excel London from 12th-15th January and visitors got the chance to enter the competition on the WD-40 stand as part of the Animal Bike Tour.
We caught up with Martyn Ashton who was at the WD-40 stand and in action in the Animal Bike Tour demo area.
Martyn said: “It’s great to be working with WD-40. The Saracen Ariel 2012 is a fantastic bike and I look forward to presenting it to the winner and spending some one-on-one training time with them.”

AUTOSPORT SHOW 2012
Visitors to the AutoSport Show were able to meet top racing driver Phil Glew at our stand, with the chance for one lucky person to win an ultimate Lotus experience with the driver himself.
The professional GT Championship driver, who is sponsored by us, was at Birmingham’s N.E.C to meet and greet fans and answer any motoring or motorsport questions they may have.
Visitors to the WD-40 stand also had the chance to enter the competition to win a once in a lifetime opportunity. This included an exclusive Lotus factory tour, a track day in one of the cars and if that wasn’t enough, one-on-one tuition with Phil, who currently races the Lotus in the British GT Championship.
Phil Glew said: “It’s great to be working with WD-40 and not just at the Autosport Show. I enjoyed meeting and greeting the fans, showing them the many applications of the product.
“The Lotus track day is a fantastic prize and to go behind the scenes in the factory is a once in a lifetime opportunity for anybody, but will be especially memorable for a motorsport fan!”
