| SPRING CLEANING MADE EASY WITH WD-40 |
Spring has finally sprung! The days are getting longer and the skies are getting brighter, but you can now see all those dirty finger marks, dust mites and scuff marks you have been oblivious to throughout the dark wintry months.
It's most definitely time for the dreaded Spring Clean!
Handy Andy and WD-40, the world's leading multi-purpose lubricant spray, have teamed up again to offer quick and easy tips to help blow out the cobwebs and start the year fresh!
Now it's a little warmer, let some fresh air into your home by opening the windows and patio doors. After three months of little action, doors, latches, handles and runners may be a little stiff, rusty and thick with gunk. 'Handy' Andy suggests spraying a little WD-40 directly onto the difficult area and wipe with a cloth. "WD-40 immediately lifts dirt and at the same time lubricates the joint to ease movement." Whilst you’re there why not wipe over your metal Venetian blinds to get rid of any mould and dust.
Grubby finger marks and static on TV sets are probably one of the first things you notice as the winter months draw to an end. A quick wipe with WD-40 will clean these up in an instant and prevent static from building up.
For great Spring Sparkle in the kitchen and bathroom, use WD-40 to remove watermarks, lime scale and mildew from taps, sinks, showerheads and to lift grime from in between ceramic tiles.
WD-40 is also fantastic for floors as it removes scuff-marks from ceramic tile floors, black streaks from hardwood and laminate floors and even sticky marks from lino.
"If you’re planning on freshening up your home with a lick of paint or a little DIY" says Andy "remember to keep a can of WD-40 handy. As well as lubricating and protecting your tools, it removes dried paint from window frames and radiator valves and is also great for getting the paint of your paint brushes after use".
