CARE FOR YOUR BARBECUE WITH WD-40
HANDY ANDY CLEANING BBQ 200 PIXELS : HANDY ANDY CLEANING BBQ Sizzling temperatures and the aroma of sausages and burgers cooked over charcoal go hand in hand. With summer’s arrival, thoughts turn to outdoor living and barbecues.

Advice comes from TV's DIY expert 'Handy' Andy on the best way of keeping the barbecue in pristine condition all summer long. "Use WD-40 to prevent your barbecue from rusting".

"During the summer most people leave their barbecue out in all weathers and the most effective way of prolonging its life and preventing rust forming is to spray the metal regularly with multi-purpose WD-40," says Andy.

"There is nothing like WD-40 for easy cleaning your charred barbecue grill. Just remove the grill from the barbecue, spray down with WD-40 and wipe clean. Make sure to wipe the residue off the grill with mild soap and water before grilling food."

"In addition, the spray effectively lubricates any moving parts on the barbecue allowing the covers and gears on rotisserie models to run smoothly. And at the end of the season when the last kebab has been cooked spray your barbecue liberally with WD-40 to protect it while it’s in store during the winter months."

Multi-purpose WD-40 cleans, protects, lubricates and drives out moisture. It is the most useful spray around and has literally thousands of different uses in the home and garden. To discover a list of over 2,000 uses, click here.
