WD-40 the house-hold wonder spray is hoping that people in Leeds will be able to help them fix a tricky problem.
As part of their 50th birthday celebrations, starting in December, they want to put together local ideas of the uses for their product.
They have 2,000 registered up to now and are hoping that they will be able to boost this to an incredible 50,000 to match their “50” birthday figure.
Uses already suggested include removing chewing gum from surfaces, using as a deterrent to slugs on garden tubs and pots and spot cleaning carpets.
The company are hoping that folks in the Leeds area will be creative and experimental with how they use WD-40 and will send in their ideas before the end of December.
New ideas will be collated in a 50th Birthday Book and one person from Leeds will be invited to an exclusive WD40 Birthday Bash with the guru of household hints and tips Handy Andy of TV’s Changing Rooms.
