WANT SOME CHRISTMAS SPARKLE? WD-40 IT!
Getting the house ready for Christmas visitors often involves more work than simply putting up the tree, hanging the tinsel and making sure there are plenty of clean towels.  With the decorating finished, suddenly the spotlight seems to focus on those unsightly dirty marks and stains.

Television favourite, ‘Handy Andy’ Kane has the solution: ‘If there’s anything needs doing around the home, I WD-40 it!’.  As well as being one of the most versatile stain removers around, WD-40 spray is the answer to hundreds of troublesome household problems from removing crayon marks from walls (and wallpaper) to providing bathroom taps and tiles with a sparkling shine.

‘Don’t bust a gut’ says Andy, ‘follow my top tips for making the house fit for even the pickiest of Christmas visitors by using a squirt of WD-40…’
Quickest way to remove coffee and tea stains from countertops and other hard surfaces is by spraying the area with WD-40
  • No need for tears if oil or tar is trodden into your best pale beige carpet. Apply WD-40 onto a dry clean cloth and gently rub into the affected area. Not only does this remove the oil or tar, it leaves no stain

  • There’s nothing more welcoming than an open fire but it can cause sooty marks on the surround. The most effective way of removing the most stubborn marks is with a liberal application of the multi-purpose spray and then wipe clean

  • Kids in trainers can cause ugly black scuff marks to lino or ceramic tiled floors that can be very tough to remove. WD-40 makes quick work of the problem leaving a shiny clean floor

  • To make reassembling artificial Christmas trees easy year after year always lubricate the joints and connections. They’ll slide effortlessly into place with no bother
WD-40 has a multitude of uses around the garden and home.  To find out more about WD-40 and to discover the 2,000 uses of this multi-purpose lubricant please visit www.wd40.co.uk.  If you want to email ‘Handy Andy’ Kane with your household DIY dilemmas, email andy@wd40.co.uk
